Constructing pavements with low environmental impact means ensuring communication between cities, countries and people of different cultures, and avoiding the waste of non-renewable resources are her main inspirations to work in the asphalt Industry.

Meet our #Asphalt_Hero Abraham Abe, a PhD Student 🎓 in the department of #Chemistry and Chemical Technologies 🧪at the University of Calabria, Italy and a Visiting Researcher at Iterchimica S.p.A Bergamo, Italy.
His research is based on #rejuvenation of aged #bitumen to be used in Reclaimed #Asphalt #Pavement and the development of biopolymers for use as additives in Warm Mix Asphalt.
