XVIII National Seminar of ASEFMA

Theme: “Towards Decarbonization and the XXII CILA of Granada”

The upcoming ASEFMA National Seminar will focus on key aspects of the asphalt industry in Spain, including the production of asphalt in the most recent fiscal year, environmental impacts derived from sector-specific Environmental Product Declarations (EPD), and international references related to decarbonization efforts.  Additionally, this event will serve as a platform to discuss a strategically significant document: “The Road to Decarbonization of the Asphalt Pavement Sector in Spain.” This roadmap will address the challenges faced by road transport infrastructure in the coming years, including emerging trends such as autonomous vehicles, connected vehicles, energy transformation, and electrification, among other factors. Furthermore, the event will include the presentation of prestigious awards:

• MPA Environmental Best Practices Award: Recognizing outstanding environmental initiatives in the asphalt industry.
• Asfaltero 4.0 Award: Celebrating innovations and advancements in the sector.
• Recognition of Exceptional Contributions: Honoring the remarkable achievements and dedication of individuals and organizations in the field.
