EAPA’s Asphalt Advocate Award 2021 presented
The European Asphalt Pavement Association (EAPA) has announced that Susann Groß-Matthäi of the EAPA Associate Member Sasol Wax, Germany, has been named as the recipient of the “EAPA Asphalt Advocate of the Year” award 2021.
With this award, granted since 2017, EAPA honours a member that has demonstrated initiatives regarding better asphalt road marketing and the communication of important industry’s topics. The Asphalt Advocate should have a strong link with the “Asphalt Advantages” campaign, which EAPA initiated together with Eurobitume, the European Association of Bitumen Producers.

International Road Maintenance Day 2021 | #IRMD
On 8 April 2021 the 4th International Road Maintenance Day (IRMD), hashtag #IRMD2021, will be held.
This year the organisers, the Spanish Asphalt Producers Association – Asefma, would like to emphasise the progress made in road maintenance from the perspective of innovation and research. ASEFMA President Juan José Potti, also EAPA Vice President, states: “We want to show all the progress made to enhance the increased environmental sensitivity in the pavement sector”.
