Highlights from the E&E Congress 2024
The E&E Congress 2024, held in Budapest this June, was a remarkable event for the asphalt and bitumen industry. This congress brought together over 750 participants from more than 50 countries, including delegations from Japan, Australia, South Africa, Malaysia, Singapore, the US, and many more. The event featured more than a hundred exhibitors and sponsors, showcasing the latest innovations and technologies in the field.
Throughout the congress, attendees engaged in fourteen sessions and three workshops, covering crucial topics such as sustainability challenges, advanced binder performance, and the role of women in the industry. The “Run for Fun” event and the Congress Dinner at the Museum of Fine Arts added a unique touch, fostering networking among participants.
One of the highlights was the presentation of the “EAPA Asphalt Advocate 2024” award to Tibor Veress, recognising his significant contributions to the industry. The E&E Congress 2024 was a resounding success, offering valuable insights and fostering meaningful connections within the asphalt community.
