E&E Event and Warm Mix Asphalt Workshop Bring Europe’s Road Community Together in Vienna

From 10–12 June 2026, Vienna welcomed hundreds of professionals from across Europe and beyond for the EAPA Warm Mix Asphalt Workshop and the E&E Event 2026.

Over three days, road authorities, researchers, contractors, industry representatives and policymakers came together to exchange knowledge, share experiences and discuss the future of road construction.

The programme covered many of the key challenges and opportunities facing the sector, including decarbonisation, circularity, health and safety, emissions, innovation, future materials and the evolving role of roads in a more sustainable transport network. Alongside the technical presentations and panel discussions, participants had the opportunity to network, strengthen existing partnerships and build new connections across the European asphalt community.

The Warm Mix Asphalt Workshop once again demonstrated the industry’s commitment to reducing emissions and accelerating the adoption of more sustainable paving technologies. The E&E Event continued this momentum by bringing together experts from across the value chain to explore practical solutions and exchange perspectives on the future of asphalt pavements.
