Lessons and Insights from Europe’s WMA Transition

Wednesday, 12 November 2025 | 14:00–16:00 CET (Brussels)
Free online — registration required
Registration deadline: 10 November 2025

Warm Mix Asphalt (WMA) has been in use for 25+ years. In recent years, adoption has accelerated—driven by green public procurement, decarbonisation targets, limits on stack emissions, health and safety regulations to reduce worker exposure to fumes, and shifting fuel costs. Countries including Norway, Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, and France are leading the path. Some have set targets of 100% reduced-temperature production by 2026.

This webinar will share lessons from Europe’s transition — the successes, challenges, and debates — to help others worldwide prepare their own path.

You will hear about:

  • Real-world insights: Experiences from leading European countries in adopting WMA.
  • Implementation challenges: Key hurdles encountered along the way.
  • Lessons learned: Practical takeaways to support a smooth and efficient transition worldwide.
  • Q&A session: A chance to interact with speakers, ask questions, and share comments live.
