Membership at European Asphalt Pavement Association

Join a Strong European Network

EAPA represents the majority of the European asphalt paving industry. EAPA membership provides access to a network of national associations, asphalt producers, contractors, equipment manufacturers, material suppliers and industry experts from across Europe and beyond.

This network creates opportunities for collaboration, knowledge sharing and the development of common industry positions.

Hear from our members both long standing and recent

Since 1973, EAPA has been the voice of the European asphalt paving industry. With over 90% of Europe’s road network surfaced in asphalt and more than 4,000 plants and 10,000 companies—predominantly SMEs—the sector needs a strong, evidence-led advocate at European level. EAPA’s mission is to ensure asphalt is appreciated, promoted and implemented as the optimum choice for constructing and maintaining Europe’s road infrastructure.

Based in Brussels, Belgium, EAPA builds the evidence base on the economic, technical and societal benefits of asphalt; champions health, safety, quality, digitalisation, environmental protection and sustainability; and supports an innovative, modern industry. We exchange and disseminate knowledge through publications, position papers, webinars and podcasts; prepare and promote policies to stakeholders within and beyond the EU decision-making framework; participate in European standardisation; and collaborate with partner associations worldwide. We convene congresses, conferences and workshops, encourage education and training, and add value through member committees that share expertise across the industry.

We are growing our presence and strength through our members across Europe.

Two types of membership are available

  1. EAPA Members are national umbrella associations with a registered office in Europe and whose members are concerned with the production of asphalt and/or the construction or maintenance of asphalt roads.
  2. Associate EAPA Members are individual companies that are concerned with the production of asphalt and/or the construction or maintenance of asphalt roads, whose registered offices are in a European country or individual companies which are concerned with the production of bitumen (or bitumen additives) or the operation of mines or quarries or the manufacture of equipment and/or mixing installations.
