EAPA Presents Asphalt 4.0 at ORBA Connecting Ontario Conference

Ontario Road Builders’ Association (ORBA) hosted the Connecting Ontario Conference, bringing together professionals from across the road construction and asphalt sector to discuss innovation, infrastructure and the future of the industry.

During the conference, European Asphalt Pavement Association presented the ongoing work and developments related to Asphalt 4.0, with discussions focusing on digitalisation, innovation and the practical implementation of new technologies within the asphalt sector.

The event provided an opportunity for valuable exchanges with asphalt professionals and industry representatives from across Ontario, highlighting shared challenges and opportunities for international collaboration.

Special thanks were extended to Donn Bernal, Walid Abou-Hamde, Mark Mallett and the Ontario Minister of Transport for the invitation and support.

The conference also marked an important step towards further international cooperation, with Ontario set to join the Global Asphalt Pavement Alliance, strengthening global knowledge exchange and collaboration within the asphalt industry.
