EAPA Elects New President and Vice President

The European Asphalt Pavement Association (EAPA) has officially welcomed a new leadership team following the recent General Council Assembly and Executive Committee meetings held in Berlin.

The EAPA Board elected Slovenko Henigman as the new Chair of the Executive Committee, a role that also includes serving as President of EAPA. Alongside him, Jean-Pierre Paseri was elected as Vice President.

This marks an important new chapter for the association as EAPA continues to strengthen the voice of the asphalt sector across Europe and support collaboration across the industry.

Slovenko Henigman brings extensive experience from the asphalt sector and has long been actively involved within EAPA. His appointment also reflects the strong engagement of EAPA’s national members and the continued importance of cooperation across Europe’s road and infrastructure sector.

Jean-Pierre Paseri, President of Routes de France and Vice President of FIEC, also brings decades of experience in road construction and infrastructure development, further strengthening EAPA’s leadership team.

EAPA would also like to sincerely thank outgoing President Ralf Pomp for his commitment, leadership, and contribution during his term. Under his presidency, EAPA further strengthened its position as the voice of the European asphalt industry and continued to expand its activities and visibility across Europe.

This transition builds on a strong foundation while bringing renewed perspectives for the years ahead, as EAPA continues working together with its members and partners to support sustainable, safe, and resilient road infrastructure across Europe.
